What We Do

Programs That Transform Lives

Our core pillars are designed to meet youth at every stage — from childhood through adulthood — with structured, compassionate support.

Mentorship Programs

One-on-one and group mentorship for ages 10–40. Our certified mentors guide participants through personal development, academic growth, and career readiness — building lasting bonds and real-world skills.

Community Outreach

Targeted campaigns that address teen pregnancy, bullying, gender-based violence, and substance abuse. We bring support directly into the communities that need it most, with no barriers to access.

Youth Empowerment

Workshops, leadership camps, and resilience training designed to ignite confidence and purpose. Young people leave our programs with a clear vision for their future and the tools to achieve it.

Our Story

A Movement Born From Purpose

Founded in 2020 in the heart of South Africa, We Lead Africa emerged from a simple but powerful belief: every young person deserves the guidance, opportunity, and community to become a leader in their own right.

We take a holistic approach — addressing not just education or employment, but the emotional, social, and spiritual dimensions of growth that determine whether young people truly thrive.

  • Founded in 2020 with a vision for generational change
  • Holistic development: mind, body, emotion, and community
  • Inclusive programs welcoming ages 10–40, all backgrounds
  • Certified mentors across multiple provinces
  • Partnerships with schools, NGOs, and government bodies

Everything you need to know about getting involved with We Lead Africa.

There are many ways to get involved! You can donate to support our programs, register as a volunteer mentor or events assistant, become a corporate partner, or enrol your child or young adult in one of our development programs. Use the contact form below or reach out directly via email or phone.
Our programs serve children aged 10 and up, youth, young adults, and even adult community members up to age 40. We also support families through community outreach and work with schools, faith organisations, and local government. Anyone who wants to grow, lead, and contribute is welcome.
We use a combination of quantitative metrics (participants reached, program completion rates, academic and employment outcomes) and qualitative assessment (personal testimonials, mentor evaluations, community feedback). Annual impact reports are published to ensure full transparency with donors and the public.
Our mentorship programs are designed for participants aged 10–40. We structure cohorts by life stage: children (10–14), teens (15–19), young adults (20–30), and adults (30–40), each with age-appropriate content, mentors, and goals.
The safety of every participant is our top priority. All mentors and volunteers undergo thorough background checks, safeguarding training, and sign our Code of Conduct. We comply with South African child protection legislation and have a dedicated Safeguarding Officer. Parents and guardians are always informed and involved.
100% of public donations are directed to program delivery — mentorship stipends, event costs, outreach materials, and participant support. Our administration costs are covered by institutional grants. Full financial statements are available upon request.
